Jinilin’s path into salon ownership wasn’t something she randomly decided one day — it evolved over years of experience in the beauty industry, both behind the chair and behind the scenes. After building her career as a stylist, Jinilin stepped into the corporate salon world where she focused on education, onboarding, and supporting teams across multiple locations. When she was unexpectedly laid off from corporate, it became the moment that pushed her to return to her roots behind the chair full time. Not long after, she co-founded HONEY&DAGGER — a boutique salon built with intention, creativity, and community at its core. As a Certified Redken Haircolorist, Jinilin blends advanced color knowledge with a strong focus on the science of healthy hair. She specializes in dimensional, lived-in color and believes great hair comes from both artistry and education — making sure every guest leaves loving their hair and knowing how to care for it between visits.
